What survives fifty laundry cycles
Commercial laundry is harder on linen than any guest. Weight, weave and hem finish all behave differently after fifty washes.
A guest uses a sheet for a night. A commercial laundry washes it at high temperature, with strong chemistry, hundreds of times. That, not the guest, is what decides how long linen lasts.
Where it fails first
- Hems A single fold frays first. A double fold with tight stitching holds.
- Weave Percale keeps its hand; a loose sateen pills sooner.
- Weight Too light and it thins; too heavy and it costs more to dry.
Run samples through your own laundry before the order is placed. Fifty cycles tells you more than any specification sheet.
