340 rooms · Flooring and Home Linen · 14 week programme
Floors went down overnight, corridor by corridor, and linen swapped floor by floor. No rooms were taken out of service at any point in the programme.
Carpet tile, LVT, terry and bed linen quoted, scheduled and delivered against a single order with one contact rather than two suppliers running in parallel.
Traffic ratings and fire class chosen for each area of the building rather than picked from a catalogue. Corridors and escape routes specified first.
Not subcontracted. The site was measured before we quoted, and the same team that measured it laid the floor.
A five star city hotel on a fourteen week programme, refurbished across corridors, guest rooms and the spa while the property remained open and trading throughout. The brief set fire class and traffic rating before anything else, because the corridors and escape routes carry the tightest requirement in the building.
Carpet tile went into every corridor and circulation route, LVT through the bathrooms and the spa where slip rating mattered more than underfoot comfort, and the linen package covered plush terry across the guest bathrooms with bed linen through all three hundred and forty rooms.
Deliveries were timed to the fitting sequence, so nothing was stored on guest floors. Each drop arrived labelled by floor and room, and the housekeeping team had the new linen par levels in place before the first refurbished floor reopened.
